  • Run up-to-date IdP software (3.4.7)
  • Declare SIRTFI

○ Security contact details ○ Cooperate on incident resolution

  • Support Research-and-scholarship services

○ Release core attributes to R&S services

  • Technical steps at IdP:

○ Load eduGAIN metadata ○ Configure attribute release

Coming Next: IdP version 4

  • Wait, didn't we just complete upgrade to V3?

○ Yes, but that was a process that started in 2015 ○ IdP 4.0.1 is out - and 3.x is "previous stable", going EOL Dec 31, 2020

  • Prepare for V4 upgrade by:

○ Being on latest 3.x (3.4.7 as of now) ○ Running with no deprecation warnings ○ Upgrading to V4 will be an easy in-place upgrade - like between V3 versions
