Cities are growing rapidly in population. A result of this is a fast and flexible lifestyle in the heart of those bright cities. Research shows that 60% of the world population will live in cities by 2030. This contributes to an increasing need for mobile, easy and qualitative products for the 24/7 citizens. We search for products that are mobile and multi- functional.

LED FARM TREE. While we live faster lives, our awareness of

a healthy lifestyle grows. We want to eat fresh food, but city life doesn’t provide large vegetable gardens. On top of that we don’t have the time to wait for weeks to grow one lettuce plant. Beside this our knowledge of growing crops is reduced to a minimal. This product is a solution for all this. The two colours of light allow a 24/7 production.

# Minimalism , # Clear, # Escapism, Positivity

Life is hectic and we seek for moments that release us from the pressure of society. The combination of the financial crisis and a society with a constant information overload made that depression became the No. 1 psychological disorder in the Western

  • world. What we find important these days is that we

enjoy the ordinary things in life. The little things that make us happy. These products help us to adjust our mindset into a calm and peaceful state. They provide a quick escape from reality. In product design we see this in two different ways. In one way we see design that is less serious and more fun. On the other hand we see a longing for clarity and simplicity that results in minimalistic

  • design. We search for products that are involving,

relieving, surprising and funny.

  • CUBEBOT. We all know the image of a robot. It is a high-tech,

futuristic creature. These designers looked at the robot from a different prospective. They turned a robot into an

  • ffline, nostalgic creature and they choose for a very

unusual material instead of high-tech. It brings back memories and in that way people can escape from the busy life.

# Nature , # Source Of Inspiration

Mankind rediscovers nature as a source of inspiration for design. Even with our technological improvements we can't compete against natures primordial force. Whatever problem occurs, nature always has its’ own solution. This doesn't mean that in design, everything has to be made from natural materials. It can also be inspired by nature. We search for products that reflect nature in their shapes, colors and materials.
