For the last 5 years Gowerton has achieved the highest categorization, Green 1A, from the Welsh Government. This recognises Gowerton as a school that is ‘highly effective’ and has a ‘track record in sustaining a high level of outcomes’. It has the ‘capacity to lead and to contribute to support’ other schools.
