The Town of Strathmore has made considerable investment in the Downtown including:

  • Street Scape Improvements
  • Regional Pathway and Park Improvements
  • Land Use Flexibility to Attract Mixed Use

Strathmore is home to many local entrepreneurial businesses and ventures, with Strathmore’s Bow Valley College even having an entrepreneurial center! Farm to Table Industries are a highlight in the region including Origin Brewery which supplies over 40 local breweries with malted barley farmed in the region! Strong partnerships with Wheatland County allow these industries including a Shrimp Farm to take advantage of the strong synergies between rural and urban areas!
