Coordinate and lead a case review process which includes conferring and coordinating with probation staff (all circuits), facility personnel, as well as non-judicial staff (child welfare, mental health, school, treatment providers, community-based supports, etc.) to ensure timely hearings/reviews. Collect and correlate detention data with detention alternative outcome data to promote the appropriate use of secure detention and detention alternatives by providing data necessary to effectively evaluate alternative placements. Prepare and present weekly detention utilization reports, including DRAI documentation for each juvenile’s admission, to the Social Services Manager. Provide leadership for the oversight of the DRAI, including but not limited to, weekly DRAI reports. Keep abreast of and promote best practices that correlate with expediting strategies.
