Soapstick History

Surfactants in the form of soapsticks have been used for decades. Has not been viable option for continuous treatment Many factors determine effectiveness of soapsticks

slide-4
SLIDE 4

Opportunity

Chevron had several underperforming gas wells

Reduced and declining production Increasing material costs Manpower intensive

Various methods employed to improve performance Defined pilot program with J&J Solutions and PetroVision Field Services

Issues Encountered and Solutions

Soapsticks Hanging up in Launcher.

Used different soapsticks

Battery going dead because of short winter days.

Increase the standard solar panel size

Setting Time for drops to optimize performance against high flow.

We have begun to work with the Telemetry System for optimization on stronger wells
