The Problem

How does it work?
- Main reflector is compacted during launch and orbit raising
- After Main reflector is deployed, calibration is performed to
achieve required performance
- An onboard measurement system measures main reflector
surface errors due to thermal variations and aging
- The Flexosub shape is changed to compensate for any surface error
- Flexosub is used in order to control the footprint
