Theory-to-Practice Grant Program Presentation of Experience Form As set forth in the Guidelines and Instructions and in the Grant Agreement of the Theory-to- Practice Grant (TPG) Program, all grant recipients must present the results of their grant- supported experience upon their return to the Ohio Wesleyan University community. Grant recipients are encouraged to develop innovative means for communicating their TPG experience, including but not limited to the ideas indicated below. Primary grant recipients must complete and return the enclosed Presentation of Experience form to The OWU Connection Office, 108 Merrick Hall, to provide detailed information on how the grant recipient(s) plan to present their grant-supported experience to the OWU community. The Presentation of Experience form is separate from the Project Report and the Expense Report. Document Submission Deadline: The Presentation of Experience form must be submitted electronically (mail to: tpgrants@owu.edu) and in hard copy to The OWU Connection Office, 108 Merrick Hall, no later than 120 days following the return to campus. Late submissions must receive prior approval from the Director of the OWU Connection. Failure to submit the Presentation of Experience form by the deadline could result in your OWU student account being charged the full amount of your grant award. Presentation Ideas by Grant Recipients: Ohio Wesleyan encourages recipients to consider innovative methods for presenting their TPG experience to the OWU community. Successful presentations in recent years include public speaking events, Transcript news articles, public presentation by video, student-made documentaries, interactive discussion panels, multimedia presentations, performance and other forms of artistic presentations, and informational social events both on-campus and in the broader Delaware community. The staff in the OWU Connection can help you develop your Presentation of Research Experience ideas in the event that you would like additional assistance. TPG experiences that result in publications or presentations at academic conferences will be deemed to have fulfilled this requirement. Digital Media Documentation of Experience Presentation Please submit two digital images of your presentations and / or other post-project activities to mail to: tpgrants@owu.edu. Notification of Presentation of Experience Primary grant recipients must notify The OWU Connection electronically, by telephone, or in-person when the Presentation of Experience is intended as soon as it is scheduled.
