The technical cooperation (TC) programme Expert assistance • Primary mechanism for delivering IAEA’s TC services • Provides assistance and training in the use of peaceful nuclear technology Training Equipment & Training courses & fellowships & materials workshops scientific visits • Aims to support sustainable socioeconomic development in Member States Conferences, symposia & Technical Cooperation seminars IAEA (TC) Projects

Technical cooperation overview • All IAEA Member States are eligible for TC assistance • Project can be national, regional or interregional • 80% of recipients are non-nuclear power countries • TC 2014 year-end budget: €113.5 million • Support provided to 131 countries and territories • 33 recipient countries are Least Developed Countries (LDCs) IAEA
