Cleanup Progress • Remediation work began September g p 2010 • As of February 10, 2011, completed removal of 22 124 tons (902 trucks removal of 22,124 tons (902 trucks worth) of contaminated soil from areas A, C/D and J • Ongoing removal of crushed concrete and asphalt stockpiles for recycling • Ongoing storm water and site • Ongoing storm water and site management activities; 1,667,200 A watering truck and excavator in Area J gallons of storm water removed 7

Dust Control and Air Monitoring • Air monitoring has been taking place at the site g g p since dismantlement work began in 2007 • Approved dust control plan on file with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) • Out of 250 days at the site, we have had 12 days where readings for naturally occurring asbestos were above the trigger level • Readings for all other constituents continue to be under health ‐ protective levels under health ‐ protective levels • All air monitoring results are reported to DTSC and BAAQMD 10
