What is GAPP ?

German American Partnership Program

  • founded in 1972 by US

President Ronald Reagan.

  • It is supported by the US and

German governments.

  • It has developed into the most

successful exchange program between Germany and the USA.

Gapp Guidelines Exchange students stay in the family‘s home for at least three weeks. They go to school for about 10 days. In addition they go on excursions to learn more about their host country.
