What is the Encinitas Rotary Home Team? A group of Rotarians carrying out the Rotary mission of “service above self” by providing basic home repair and maintenance services to senior citizens living in Encinitas who are either physically or financially unable to do it themselves.

Yes Ms. Armstrong! This sounds like a job for the Encinitas Rotary Home Team. I’ll be out to take a look within the next couple of days.

What an awesome job that Home Team did!!! Not sure about that guy with that southern drawl though? I’ll definitely call the Home Team again!

 Over 70 projects completed since 2010-2011  Projects now going on during the week & on weekends  Primary installer of smoke alarms for the San Diego Burn

Institute in the Encinitas area

 City-wide promotion through brochures and the Coast News  Food “Vendor” for Rotary Wine Festival  Self-funding of home projects  Completion of Pancake Breakfast

 An event dedicated to raising awareness of the services

• ffered by the Home Team and generating funds to help
• ffset the cost of those services!

 Over 20 sponsors and community organization participation  Grossed $6,000+ in donations and ticket sales with portions

• f proceeds going to support projects and the club general

What’s Ahead for the Home Team?

 Roll out to other North County Rotary Clubs  Exploring sponsorships from local hardware

 Get our Interact kids involved  Establish closer linkage with the city of
