Also, that the church departments, in its programs, are facilitating in the development of the Small groups and that these are a suitable tie of the program of the church"
The Small groups are constituted by members of the Church Adventist of the Seventh Day, with the target to take the gospel in systematical form to all the families of our community. For the fulfillment of our mission, we realize four main activities: Fraternization, study of the Bible, adoration to the Creator and testificación. These activities will develop during the week.
IT IS BIBLICAL God organized to the nation of Israel in groups “ Éxo 18:21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.”
IT IS CURRENT? “He [God] designs that we should learn lessons of order and organization from the perfect order instituted in the days of Moses, for the benefit of the children of Israel .”— Testimonies for the Church 1:653
JESUS SELECTED A GROUP TO FULFILL THE MISSION Jesus's example, who chose a group of men so that they were its disciples, foundation of the primitive Christian church. Luk. 10:1-8
THE PRIMITIVE CHURCH GREW IN GROUPS The Example of the primitive church that was meeting in groups, in the houses of the brothers. (Act.2:42-47; 17: 5-7; Rom. 16:3-5; 1Cor.16:15 and 19; Col. 4:15; Fil.1:2)
GOD REVEALED IT TO HIS CHURCH TODAY “The formation of small companies as a basis of Christian effort has been presented to me by One who cannot err. If there is a large number in the church, let the members be formed into small companies, to work not only for the church members, but for unbelievers .” Testimonies for the Church 7:21, 22.
Efe 4:11,12 “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
“ Let the minister devote more of his time to educating than to preaching. Let him teach the people how to give to others the knowledge they have received.” 7T 20.1

THE BEST MEDICINE The best medicine you can give the church is not preaching or sermonizing, but planning work for them. If set to work, the despondent would soon forget their despondency, the weak would become strong, the ignorant intelligent, and all would be prepared to present the truth as it is in Jesus. They would find an unfailing helper in Him who has promised to save all who come unto Him. — The Review and Herald, June 25, 1895.
THE PRIESTHOOD OF ALL BELIEVERS 1Pe 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

LAY PERMANENT SCHOOL For the success of the small groups in the church, it is priority to establish a permanent lay school with three sections: 1. Results report. 2. Planning, counseling and equipment. 3. Theoretical and practical training.
