He it is Who raised among the inhabitants of Mecca a Messenger from among themselves, who recites to them His communications and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom, although they were before certainly in clear error. Sura al-Jumuah, 62:2

ﻟَﻘَﺪْﻛَﺎنَﻟَﮑُﻢْﻓِﻲرَﺳُﻮلِاﻟﻠﱠﻪِأﺳْﻮَةٌﺣَﺴَﻨَﺔٌﻟِﻤَﻦْﻛَﺎنَﻳَﺮْﺟُﻮ اﻟﻠﱠﻪَوَاﻟْﻴَﻮْمَاﻟْﺂﺧِﺮَوَذَﻛَﺮَاﻟﻠﱠﻪَﻛَﺜِﻴﺮًا

Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much. Sura Ahzab, no.33, verse 21

1) Responding with good Akhlaq ﻣﺎ ﮐﺎن اﺣﺪ اﺣﺴﻦ ﺧﻠﻘﺎ ﻣﻨﻪ ﺻﻠﯽ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ وآﻟﻪﻣﺎ دﻋﺎهاﺣﺪ ﻣﻦ اﺻﺤﺎﺑﻪو ﻻ اﻫﻞ ﺑﯿﺘﻪاﻻ ﻗﺎل: ﻟﺒﯿﮏ

There was no-one better in Akhlaq than him (s). Whenever anyone from his companions or family members would call him he would say Labbaik. Koh Kohl l al al-Bas Basar ar, , p.94 p.94

2) Eating together ﮐﺎنَرﺳﻮل اﻟﻠّﻪﯾﺄﮐﻞﮐُﻞﱠاﻷﺻﻨﺎفﻣِﻦَاﻟﻄّﻌﺎمو ﮐﺎنَﯾﺄﮐُﻞﻣﻤّﺎاﺣﻞّ اﻟﻠّﻪﻟﻪ ﻣﻊاﻫﻠﻪو ﺧَﺪَﻣِﻪاِذاأﮐَﻠﻮا The Messenger of Allah would eat all types of food and ate what what was halal with his family and his servants Ma Makarim imul Ak Akhlaq, , v.1 .1, , p.53 .53

3) Cheerfulness ﮐﺎنَرﺳﻮلُاﻟﻠّﻪ)ص( اِذاﺣَﺪﱠثﺑﺤﺪﯾﺚٍﺗَﺒﺴﱠﻢَﻓﯽ ﺣﺪﯾﺜﻪِ When the Messenger of Allah talked he would be smiling Ma Makarimu imul Ak Akhl hlaq, , v.1, .1, p.21 p.21

ﯾَﻀﺤﮏُﻣﻤّﺎﯾَﻀﺤﮑﻮنو ﯾَﺘﻌﺠّﺐُﻣﻤّﺎﯾَﺘﻌﺠﱠﺒﻮنَﻣﻨﻪ

He would laugh at what they laughed at, and would be surprised at what surprised them

4) Overlooking ﻻَﯾَﺠﺰِیﺑﺎﻟﺴّﯿﺌﺔِاﻟﺴّﯿﯩٔﺔَ، و ﻟﮑﻦ ﯾَﻐْﻔِﺮُو ﯾَﺼْﻔَﺢُ

He would not return evil for evil, rather he would forgive and pardon Al Al-Ma Manqib, v. v.1, p. p.145

ﯾَﻘْﺒَﻞُﻣﻌﺬِرَةَاﻟﻤُﻌﺘَﺬِرِاﻟﯿﻪ

He would accept the apology of one who apologizes to him Bi Bihar al-An Anwa war, r, v.16, p. p.226

The Prophet (s) followed the verse where Allah says;

ﻓَﺎﺻْﺒِﺮْﻋَﻠَﻰﻣَﺎﻳَﻘُﻮﻟُﻮنَ

And be patient at what they say . .. Su Sura Ta Taha ha, no no.20, verse 130 Su Sura Qa Qala lam, no no.50, verse 39

5) Display of Affection ﻣَﻦْﻗَﺒّﻞوَﻟَﺪَهُﮐَﺘَﺐَاﻟﻠّﻪ ُﻟَﻪُﺣَﺴَﻨﺔً Whoever kisses his child, a good deed is written for him. Al-Kafi, v.6, p.49

و ﮐﺎنَﯾَﺨْﺼﻒُاﻟﻨﱠﻌﻞَو ﯾُﺮﻗّﻊاﻟﺜَﻮبَو ﯾَﻔْﺘَﺢُاﻟﺒﺎبَو ﯾَﺤْﻠِﺐُاﻟﺸّﺎةَو ﯾَﻌﻘِﻞُاﻟﺒﻌِﺮَﻓﯿﺤﻠِﺒُﻬﺎوَﯾَﻄْﺤَﻦُﻣَﻊَاﻟﺨﺎدمِاِذااَﻋﯿﺎو ﯾَﻀَﻊُﻃَﻬﻮرَهَﺑﺎﻟﻠّﯿﻞِ ﺑِﯿﺪه

And he would mend his shoes, and patch his clothes, and

• pen the door, and milk the ewe, and tie the camel and milk

it, grind the wheat with the servant if he was tired, and prepare [water] for his purification at night with his own hands. Al-Manaqib, v.1, p.145
