VALAIS EDELWEISS
Edelweiss extract has many benefjcial effects on the skin: it has antioxidant, moisturising, astringent, sof- tening and anti-ageing properties. Edelweiss is a high mountain fmower which grows at altitudes of between 2,000 and 3,000 metres. It is highly prized for its anti-ageing properties. Products made using Edelweiss regenerate and offer effective protection for the skin against harmful external factors (wind, cold, pollution). The fmower leaves the skin relaxed, nourished, smooth, supple and revitalised. It re-establishes the natural protective functions of the skin gives it a more youthful appearance.

VALAIS APRICOT
The apricots used to produce Valeze/Eve creams are harvested in Valais when ripe, between July and
- September. Mr Vital Pralong, an apricot producer in Salins, just above Sion, carefully selects the fjnest
sun-ripened fruits. The historic «Luizet» variety is harvested and taken directly to the internationally-renowned Aigle labora- tory, so the natural extracts and apricot oil can be prepared on site. This process guarantees the very fjnest quality of ingredients. Apricot kernel oil is exceptionally rich in vitamin A and linoleic acid. It is the richest oil in polyunsaturated acids, helping it to nourish, hydrate, regenerate and soften the skin. Apricot kernel oil is a highly effective treatment for sagging, tired, and wrinkled skin (face, neck and bust). Thanks to its very light texture, it is easily absorbed and does not leave an oily fjlm on the skin. Apricot revitalises, fortifjes, nourishes, tones, softens and delays the effects of ageing on the skin, and res- tores your radiant complexion.Apricot extracts and apricot oil have long been renowned for their cosmetic properties.

- ducts. In fact, following on from a body care range launched in 2011 and a facial care range launched in 2012,
Valeve is proud to bring the Eve sun protection range to its many loyal customers. It has taken several months of very hard work to come up with a range guaranteed to provide a high degree
- f protection against the sun’s UVA-B rays, yet one which observes the brand’s core principles: to be envi-
ronmentally friendly, provide something easy to obtain, and something which is ethically sound. Ever free of phthalates, parabens, mineral oils, and palm oil, we have also sought to prevent the nanoparticles found in many mineral fjlters. Accordingly, we have decided to use organic fjlters, which are scientifjcally proven to be effective and harmless. Fully aware of how important it is to protect against UVA rays, responsible for prema- ture photo aging of the skin, we have integrated special fjlters, which are also capable of forming an effective screen against UVA rays. Adding Valais apricot stone oil and fruit extracts, as well as vitamins B3 and E, and pro-vitamin B5 results in products of optimum quality, guaranteed to be highly effective. As their ingredients offer a high degree of tolerance, children may use the Eve sun protection range. Two products are available in the Eve sun protection range, with a SPF protection factor of 50:

HAND CREAM

With a light texture and very quickly absorbed into the skin, this care product is rich in substances which will preserve the beauty of the hands, prevent dry skin and act as moisturisers. They increase the suppleness and elasticity of the skin by repairing the damage caused by constant daily stress. The skin quickly becomes softer and more supple. Because it contains vitamin C, this cream irons out liver spots and thus prevents them from forming. It is important to apply this care product regularly to prevent the effects of time appearing on the hands early. It also naturally strengthens the nails and stimulates UV protection. A product formulated in line with nature using ingredients which the skin tolerates amazingly, the cream does not contain any parabens or phthalates and is free of mineral oils, palm oil and other suspect ingredients. Body Lotion contains Valais apricot extracts, very rich in vitamin A, giving it nourishing, moisturising and regenerative virtues, making the skin more supple at the same time. The active agents in this Body Lotion intensely moisturise and smooth the skin, including: allantoin, which speeds up the cell regeneration process. This agent also helps the skin regain its ideal moisture, making for healthier skin. FABIEN GUIDOUX
Born in Orbe, Switzerland in 1976, Fabien Guidoux was initially trained as a chef. He then went on to study music at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris, where he won a prize for the trombone, an instrument he has played since the age of 9. When he returned to Switzerland, he taught music, gave concerts, and became a freelance caterer. In 2010, Fabien Guidoux decided to set himself a new challenge in the cosmetics industry, and established Valeze. Keen to protect planet and showcase a local Swiss product, he naturally chose the Valais apricot as his raw material. Thanks to his passion and perseverance, his exceptional, environmentally-friendly products were soon picked up by distributors in Switzerland and abroad. Fabien is married and lives in the village of Valeyres-sous-Rances, near Orbe. This is where Valeve SA has its registered offjce.
