Proposed topics

Prevention means acting before something becomes a serious health problem, thus reducing the burden of disease and the need for health care services or medicines. Preventive healthcare provides many direct benefits to the individual and represents a key source of cost savings

Disease prevention

Emerging and re‐emerging epidemic diseases pose an on‐going threat to global health. This requires the development of strategies, initiatives, and services to reduce their impact on affected populations worldwide and limiting their international spread

Endemic diseases

Many environmental threats, including contaminated water and food, could lead to infections and death. Providing access to safe water and promoting proper hygiene behaviours especially in poor countries are essential in reducing the burden of disease Successful health care delivery requires effective medical devices as tools for prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. Despite the exponential growth of scientific and technological development, not always innovative medical devices are design to be accessible, appropriate and affordable for everyone.
