Key Su Sustainability & & Per erformance ce M Metrics cs In FY 2019, Affordable Housing Services assisted 8,983 families and expended a total of $10,440,900 • It costs approximately $5.76 per household in personnel and operating costs for Affordable Housing Staff to provide Public Facilities and Infrastructure projects to be able to provide services and access to community improvements for low to moderate income areas. • It costs approximately $1.03 per household in personnel and operating costs for Affordable Housing Staff to provide Public Services to be able to improve the quality of life for low to moderate income persons. • It costs approximately $28.34 per household in personnel and operating costs for Affordable Housing Staff to provide Multi-Family housing preservation and new construction activities to ensure long term sustainability and compliance for low to moderate income families. • It costs approximately $10.42 per household in personnel and operating costs for Affordable Housing Staff to provide Single Family housing preservation, rehabilitation, and new construction activities to ensure long term sustainability and compliance for low to moderate income families.

  7. Su Succe cess St Story Home Preservation • Ms. Collins- a 75 year old resident of Plant City, lived in the same home for 40 years. The home that she loved and raised her children in was falling down around her. The roof leaked and the home flooded when it rained. Through the County’s Demo-Rebuild program, and with the help of Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay, Ms. Collins now resides in a new home that is safe, free of rain, and is one that she is proud to own. Ms. Collins has a zero percent, no payment mortgage on the property.

  8. Laburnu num G Gar ardens ns This development is a 55 and older senior community located in Valrico. The brand new 81 unit is a mix of one and two- bedroom apartment homes that are affordably priced for those with limited incomes. With the assistance of $275,000 in State SHIP funding and Low Income Housing Tax Credits the units will remain affordable to those earning below 60% AMI. Residents moved in in May of 2019 and have access to amenities such as the fitness center, computer lab, community room and nearby local restaurants and transportation.
