ELEMENTARY: Model will move from “strongly suggested” to required. Students will be required to read 1-2 books

with parents) Each grade level will determine an age-appropriate assignment that will be required upon return to school MIDDLE SCHOOL: Continuation of Books at the Beach program HIGH SCHOOL: English curriculum committee for grades 9 and 10 will review the benefits of a required summer reading assignment for all students. Currently reviewing possible incentivized reading program.
