Questions to Consider

  • What are the key strategic planning issues within each

topic?

  • LDP Proposals to address those issues?
  • Do existing planning policies adequately address these

issues, or what new LDP Planning Policies are needed?

  • Possible Options for POP – Do these seem reasonable?
slide-31
SLIDE 31

Next Steps in POP and LDP Preparation

  • Stakeholder Input Considered
  • Sustainability Appraisal
  • Finalise POP
  • Publish POP & SA, then Public Consultation
  • Plan Strategy (PS)
  • Local Policies Plan (LPP)
  • Monitoring & Review
