What will be your positive response/commitment going forward to this idea/word when you encounter it in our church community?

Each table had a word and a group leader . The group answered the two questions

The words were tailored from the conversation in our previous meeting. Around individuals thoughts on how some concerns are perceived in our church.

Many have attitudes, disagreements need to be embraced and not seem as a fight

People need to know they have support by all staff, parishioners of the group they are leading

Speak privately is there is an issue rather disrupt group meetings

Support of current leadership of group leaders and chairpersons

Long time membership within congregation, youth, expression of talents

Familiarity of church history and community/open and welcoming

Bring church parishioners closer together, spirit and Jesus is present to share with one another even in times of stress and trouble (ex. Reggie Daniels Sr.)

When walking in the door to the church show love, concern for yourself, youth and multiple members

Gathering together at Hot Meals and community meetings

TRUST

  • Seek God for Wisdom

  • Align yourself with the Vision of the church and if you are in a

ministry your actions should reflect the groups mission and vision statement.

  • Invest in our church

  • Being able to apologize when you have wronged someone.

  • Forgiveness can build trust.

  • Take the personal out the situation.

  • Owning your own mess.

  • Face our Reality

  • Keep your word

  • Maturing and knowing what you can tolerate and having the

ability to remove yourself.

  • Support the groups.

  • Don’t forget where you came from! We are generally proud

people, and proud of our accomplishments! Remembering that we were that one lost sheep that Jesus rescued and it was not for Him and His grace we would not be in that position.
