  9. 9 Tunisian Automotive Management Academy (TAMA) Invest for Jobs – Opportunities for Growth in Africa Approach Background • Establishment of a training centre based on the German dual system Lack of middle management personnel & low staff retention rates are major obstacles for investments • Training for middle management positions (soft skills, lean & project & job creation in the Tunisian automotive sector management, economics), and trainings for trainers Objective Results (so far) Innovative training and job partnership for • Official Opening of TAMA in September 2019 further qualification and creation of an additional 260 training positions and 7,500 jobs • First training round completed in February 2020 • Online courses since April 2020, including a women-only course • Over 100 trained candidates so far Partner
