Two Long Term Goals

Goal One

  • By 2035, 90 percent of students will graduate “college, career, and

citizenship ready.” Goal Two

  • Beginning with the 2020 graduating class, the state, each district, and

each high school should increase by five percent annually the percentage of students who graduate college, career, and citizenship ready.

Year One

  • Excellent: Top 15%
  • Good: Next 20%
  • Average: Next 35%
  • Below Average: Next 20%
  • Unsatisfactory: Bottom 10%

Years Two Through Five

  • The year one results will be used

to set “cut points” for years two through five.

  • The percent of schools at each

level is not fixed in years two through five.

  • The cut points will be

recalculated in year six.
