The game prototype

Simple shooter game. Defend the point. Multiple weapon and enemy options. 4 Cameras to render the 360 environment. Movable interface creates clones when exiting the canvas. Other render options were considered. Other game ideas were considered.

User Test

Tested ran over the course of 3 days. Main target audience were students. Mainly positive feedback. Easy to use, even by ”non-Gamers”. People loved the socializing aspect. Users would prefer the experience room over Virtual Reality Headsets. More in the video.

Conclusion

A fun little game which could be extended. User friendly and easy to learn. Possibilities for reuse in unity. Great but expensive alternative to virtual reality. Users felt more social than playing on a computer. Users would prefer the experience room over Virtual Reality Headsets.

Future Works

Motion detection. Custom input/controls. Other games. Research on rather or not the experience room makes people socialize/cooperate more/better.
