Winter 2016

S H A R E launches

SHARE is all about learning & development and as everyone knows learning & development is more than training. That’s why we deliver housing education; are involved in organisational development, particularly through our work around Committee/Board appraisals; and work with organisations on Modern Apprenticeships. We’ve now developed our Bitesize Briefings – a series of two hour briefings on key policy and practice issues (refreshments and lunch provided). SHARE has been working with consultant David Ogilvie (ex-SFHA and CIHS) to develop these. The first three in the series are available for you to book right now:
  • Housing and immigration update
– 24 February
  • Sustaining tenancies under Universal Credit
– 22 March
  • Improving homes, improving lives – tackling
fuel poverty and investing in energy efficiency – 29 April The first three Briefings take place in Glasgow at ng homes, Saracen House, which is a really good
  • venue. Others will be organised throughout the
year, some will take place in Edinburgh – and elsewhere if there is a demand. The great thing about our Briefings is that they are short and focused – enabling you to hear some great speakers – and then get back to work!
