 2014: Government calls for new apprenticeships in non trade related industries  2015: The Insurance Institute submit and receive confirmation of 100 nationwide places for an apprenticeship in Insurance Practice commencing September 2016  Programme developed with IT Sligo in conjunction with The Insurance Institute  Industry approved and validated at level 8 BA (Hons) in Insurance Practice

 Three year part time blended learning programme incorporating distance and team delivery methods  Blends Insurance examinations (APA & CIP qualifications) with business and personal skills leading to level 8 BA (Hons) in Insurance Practice  Involves work based case studies  Office based with ‘day release’ for live streamed lectures
