  3. • Submitted o July: 712 o August (in progress): 53 • Completed (excl. withdrawals) o July: 1,325 o August (in progress): 172 Processed Simplified Reverification: • July: 106 • August (in progress): 11 Site Visits: • July: 36 • FYTD: 353 Total Number of Verified Firms: 14,322 • SDVOSB: 11,114 • VOSB: 3,208 SLIDE 8 – CVE 2020 EFFICIENCIES AND PROCESS HIGHLIGHTS • Simplified renewal process has led to a 15% increase in efficiency in the CVE process • Full Federal processing program of cases has led to a 2% increase in efficiency in the CVE process • Reduced risk case processing program decreases time for Federal Review by up to 74% • All Veteran applicants still assigned a personal case analyst to provide superlative customer service • Issues can be fixed withadditional information or updated businessdocuments within the process • Robust customer service call center and risk program SLIDE 9 – STATUS OF CVE TRANSFER TO SBA 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) • Two versions of the NDAA – each has passed their respective house o H.R. 6395 includes the text of H.R. 1615, a stand-alone bill that lays out the Government-widecertificationofSDVOSBs.Ittransfersallpeopleandassetsof CVE to SBA. Discussion of H.R. 1615 was held at previous meetings o S. 4049 does not include the Federal certification of SDVOSBs nor the transfer of CVE toSBA
