Supported Work Experience for Youth

Revitalizing a neighborhood - Empowering its people

Knitting together our highly-supported work experiences for youth with our comprehensive strategy addressing the many community and economic needs of our neighborhoods, the SSJNN Supported Work Experience program will provide 1,886 hours

  • f supported work experience for 30 at‐risk youth and 4 adults living within the 7 census

tracts of SSJNN’s service area. Youth choose from 1 of 4 job options according to their interests, including: neighborhood beautifjcation, urban farming, bicycle repair, healthcare or retail services. Funding leveraged: ECGRA, PA DCED Neighborhood Assistance Program, Erie County, Erie Diocese, SSJ of Northwestern PA, TANF — and many private, individual donors
