SIGNING UP A SILK RTO
WHAT IS AN RTO? Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are providers and assessors of nationally recognised training. Only RTOs can issue nationally recognised qualifications. In order to become registered, training providers must meet the Australian Quality Training Framework 2007 (AQTF 2007) standards. This ensures the quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET) services throughout Australia.
TYPES OF RTO’S RTOs include TAFE colleges and institutes, Adult and community education providers, Private providers, Community organisations, Schools, higher education institutions, Commercial and enterprise training providers, Industry bodies, and other organisations that meet registration requirements. Please note Silk only accept School Students who are Registered in an Industry (Beauty/Hair course) All registered training organisation’s are entered into the National Training Information Service (NTIS) database listing their details and scope of registration
WHO CAN CONTACT POTENTIAL RTO’S? Can a Silk Sales Representative or Silk Industry Trade Professional contact an RTO direct? ONLY A Silk Industry Trade Professional can approach RTO’S however A Silk Sales Representative can seek Authorisation from Silk Head Office to approach a RTO please email Chelsea@silkoilofmorocco.com.au . We want to ensure that the person contacting the RTO has experience within the Industry and has Full Silk Product knowledge. ACCESS TO TRADE ACCOUNT All RTO’s can sign up to an Online Trade Account to purchase items to re – stock their initial free Kit. There is sample packs they can also purchase at below Trade Price as well as Monthly Trade Deals. If they do not want to Sign up to the Trade online account they need to purchase via their Silk ITP. The Silk ITP run their own business and will need to provide the RTO with an invoice. 50% off SRP
