Objectives

Ø Develop intelligent search engine for extracting information

from SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) Filings using Cloud based Technology

Ø Two Search Engines: One for Non-Financial Information and

the other for Financial Information

n SEEK-iNF: Basically built for Non-financial information,

search is based on user’s provided search strings from the following SEC filings, 8K, 10K, 10Q, 13F, DEF 14A, S1, Comments letters, Uploads, 20F, 40 F, and AAER.

n FRAANK: Basically built for Financial information from

Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement from 10K, and 10Q. Also, it gets sections of 10K and 10Q. Soon we will include 20F and 40F.

such as auditee, auditor, type of opinion, place and date of audit, and dumps into Excel Spreadsheet

u SOX 404 Management and Audit Reports and determines the

type of report

titles

u Instance Document: Uses SEC XBRL Taxonomy to automatically

create an instance document of 10K and 10Q

companies filing with the SEC and extend it to foreign companies listed in other countries and improve the logic

u Build capabilities to process statements uploaded by users for private

companies, state governments, and municipalities

u Improve the logic for parsing SOX 404 Reports u Improve the logic for parsing Footnotes, and Items u Build and improve the logic for obtaining MD&A from 10 K u Improve the logic for obtaining the names of people who signed 10K

with their titles

u Improve the performance of FRAANK to tag 10K and 10Q using the

2013 SEC XBRL Taxonomy

u Improve the performance of FRAANK in automatically creating

linkbases when creating the tagged documents

u Extend the above applications to companies in foreign countries
