What is SeedSAT Beta Version?

• “Beta”: designing and testing phase
• Countries: Nigeria and Ethiopia
• Crops to be assessed include:

Ethiopa proposed crops: Maize Tef Sorghum Wheat

• Time period: November 2019-December 2020. The final beta

tool will be available at the end of this period.

• Elements of the beta tool will be digitized.
• The beta version is intended to inform future versions of the

tool that will include improvements based on feedback.

What is the SeedSAT Vision of a Healthy Seed System?

• Scores generated for specific objectives under each thematic area, But NO dashboard
• f aggregated scores.
• Prioritized areas for investment with estimated costs for internal/external investment

considerations

• Reports will be considered propriety
