Human Subject Research Half-Day Symposium for Clinical Research Coordinators and Associates January 11, 2018 8:00 am to 12:00 noon SUNY Medical University, Syracuse NY Jeffrey Cohen, PhD, prior Director of Education for OHRP (DHHS-Office for Human Research Protection) and current President of HRP Consulting will present:

• Project Management ,
• Communication Strategies ,
• Central IRBs ,
• Research Record Keeping, and
• Recruitment & Consent Process

SOCRA has approved this program for 3.75 hours for continuing education. There is no fee to attend, but RSVP is requested for planning purposes. Questions or RSVP by January 5, 2018 to cerror@upstate.edu

Beginning January, a Study Group will meet each week, 4-6 pm, to prepare for ACRP and SoCRA exams. If interested, email Kelly_Unsworth@urmc.rochester.edu Teleconferencing will be available.

Attendees must report and retain documentation of event (certificate of attendance & program). For details see websites ACRP and SoCRA .

Depending on a topic, SCORE and other educational meetings may qualify toward the maintenance of coordinator national certification.
