  2. Our first aim in the Rights Respecting Steering Group is to inform all students, staff and parents about “Rights and Responsibilities”. Secondly we are promoting decisions based on “Rights and Responsibilities” across the whole school. By working through the RRSA we believe that the impact of this is an overall improvement in achievement, attendance and behaviour.

In order to promote the ethos of Rights Respecting across the school the steering group has set a number of challenges for the whole school to participate in such as: • Class Charters – Including the new “Playground Charter” • The “Cinderella” Story • Designing Rights Champions – “Mascots” • School Display Labels Links • Article 28 Class Challenge • Infant and Junior Class Assemblies • Charity support – Day for Change / Red Nose Day • Development of a “Rights Respecting” Fronter Room
