 South Carolina Department of Mental Health (DMH)  Coastal Empire covers five counties (Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, Hampton,

Allendale)

 We have six outpatient clinics in those five counties- two outpatient clinics in

Beaufort County

CCRI (Community Crisis Response an Intervention)

Interpreter services for those who do not speak English

Emergency walk-in at the local mental health center

Care Coordinator that helps families with access to state, local, and community supports/assistance

On site crisis stabilization for students in crisis through CCRI

Direct access for all school staff to a highly trained Mental Health Professional (MHP) for consultation regarding all student mental health issues

Crisis response as needed that includes:

 Timely response to School District need in

times of crisis

 On-site coordination of mental health crisis

response

 Additional clinical counselors and on-site

supervisors for children and adults

 Regular on-going support for as long as is

needed

Mental Health Assessment and referral services for students and school district staff
