Ø Began ¡with ¡two ¡five-­‑person ¡mop ¡up ¡crews. ¡This ¡was ¡quickly ¡ expanded ¡to ¡seven ¡five-­‑person ¡mop ¡up ¡crews ¡and ¡twenty ¡danger ¡ tree ¡assessors ¡and ¡fallers. ¡ Ø This ¡provided ¡us ¡with ¡an ¡opportunity ¡to ¡successfully ¡have ¡ mul-ple ¡first ¡na-on ¡band ¡members ¡work ¡together. ¡

elsewhere ¡to ¡keep ¡providing ¡employment ¡to ¡our ¡people. ¡

Ø In ¡August ¡2011 ¡we ¡stared ¡a ¡contract ¡with ¡an ¡independent ¡power ¡ producer ¡(IPP) ¡in ¡Stewart ¡BC. ¡

Ø Challenging ¡terrain ¡and ¡weather. ¡ Ø Logis-cally ¡complex. ¡ Ø Approximately ¡8 ¡kilometers ¡long. ¡ Ø Eleva-on ¡from ¡sea-­‑level ¡up ¡to ¡1500 ¡meters ¡and ¡then ¡back ¡to ¡sea-­‑

• level. ¡

Ø Old ¡growth ¡and ¡decedent ¡forest ¡type ¡required ¡crews ¡of ¡highly ¡ qualified ¡and ¡experienced ¡fallers. ¡
