More about Fedhealth’s hospital cover

  • All Fedhealth options have unlimited private hospitalisation.
  • Any private hospital may be used except on certain options where

members must use a Fedhealth network hospital. Emergency treatment will be covered at any hospital no matter the option.

  • The in-hospital benefit covers hospital costs as well as the accounts

for doctors, specialists and other healthcare providers.

CHRONIC DISEASE BENEFIT

The Chronic Disease Benefit on flexiFED3 has been extended to include a R3 000 per family per year benefit for the following: ADHD, depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder and PTSD. This takes the number of chronic conditions covered on flexiFED3 to 34. The unlimited Chronic Disease Benefits on flexiFED3 for acne for child dependants up to the age of 21, allergic rhinitis for child dependants up to the age of 18, and eczema in child dependants up to the age of 18 have now also been extended to flexiFED4.
