SOME TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SPECIFICATION

 Where applicable, products which are grouped will be evaluated as such and the allocation of preference points will be as per the total value of the series group.  The specifications represent the minimum requirements.  Any product offer that provides equivalent performance or capabilities, or exceeds the stated requirements, will be acceptable, subject to Bid Evaluation Committee (BEC) decision.  Product examples listed are for clarity purposes only, not to be brand-specific.  A ten-percent (10%) deviation will be allowed on certain mandatory numerical specifications, e.g. weight, dimensions and other figures. Products that fall within this range in terms of technologynical specifications may be accepted, despite being below

  • spec. The BEC reserves the right to make the final decision in any such matters.

 Alternative/additional products may be offered against each line. This can be done by copying the line in the spread-sheet, keeping the line number and description the same, and adding the appropriate product details and price.  Offers not adhering to these requirements may be disqualified.
