  3. Position Basics  CENTER-free throw line extended  TRAIL-45 degree angle outside the ball line  LEAD-outside shoulder should be on ball line up to the 3 point line

  4. When ball leaves Trail and goes to Center side…Trail and Lead close down

  5. CENTER  Start at FTE  If the ball makes you decide-open low

  6. Open low in Center

  7. Rotation Keys  Ball free throw line extended and below

  8. Rotation Keys  Ball in the corner

  9. When we do NOT rotate  On a quick Pass, Drive, or Shot

  10. During Rotation  Once Lead rotates(get outside ball line)-Center STAY AND OFFICIATE

  11. Secondary/Primary defenders  Center and Trail have primary defenders all the way to the basket  Lead has ALL secondary defenders  Center never give preliminary signal

Key Points  Coming up the court, Trail stay outside the ball line  Close when ball leaves your area  Lead stay outside the ball line, mirror the ball  Center start at free throw line extended  If the ball makes you decide, open low  When ball if free throw line extended and below, lead rotate  When lead rotates, Center STAY and officiate, let the ball take you out  Trail should only have to make 2 steps to become new Center  Lead has all secondary defenders  Trail/Center have all primary defenders

  13. LONG SWITCH  Lead Tableside calls offensive foul  Lead becomes new Lead tableside  Trail becomes new Trail tableside
