Safety Flexibility Instruction

Student and stafg safety is a top priority. Plans will reflect guidance from the CDC, State and Fond du Lac County Health

  • Departments. Plan will adjust as updates

are released. Plans were developed to allow for a fluid response keeping in mind stafg, student and parent capacity, coupled with financial resources of the district. Plans will reflect a preference for traditional classroom learning and focus on creating conditions to safely reopen schools. Instructional models will include blended/virtual learning options for PK-12 in the event that traditional classroom learning cannot occur.

After School Care:

The district will provide increased options for after school care for elementary students at their elementary school through the district’s BRAVE Community Learning Center program. (See BRAVE Programming Slide) due to the earlier dismissal time.

Calendar for First Week of School

At the elementary schools, students will be divided into cohorts for the first week only. Students with last names beginning with A-M will only attend on Tuesday and Wednesday. Students with last names beginning with N-Z will only attend on Thursday and Friday. This is to allow teachers time to practice the new safety procedures related to COVID.
