Workforce I nvestment Board of Tulare County

  • Schedule monthly meetings with partners to discuss progress, work plans, participant plans, and provide technical assistance
  • Serve as the fiscal agent and grant manager.
  • Monitor the subcontractor’s program activity and compliance, including fiscal, program worksites, interview participants and

Customized Program Design

  • A full-time dedicated Career Coach and Business Resource Specialist
  • Career Coaches provide career exploration and planning
  • Co-enroll in Supervised and WIOA Services
  • RESET participants are co-case managed with RESET Probation Officers
  • Business Resource Specialists work with businesses to develop transitional

jobs, on-the-Job (OJT) and direct placements.

  • Career Coach provides an overview of the Employment Connection services

and completes WIOA application and assessment process.

  • Access to resource room, attend workshops, job squad, supportive services,

(bus passes, food vouchers, clothing vouchers, school supplies) and referrals to other community services agencies.

  • Solution: Expand the population to include participants who are on probation and post-

release community supervised

  • Lack of Transportation
  • Solution: Probation assists with bus passes, and Business Resource Specialist work

with businesses near participant’s residence
