ABOUT PURPLEGROWTH

Established in 2016, PurpleGrowth provides customised training solutions to clients across sectors. COURSE OVERVIEW

Public speaking and presentation are both a means of presenting

  • ne’s thoughts or ideas before an audience with the purpose
  • f informing or infmuencing them. As PurpleGrowth, we will

arm delegates with tools to present to both large and small

  • audiences. Participants will learn the skill of adapting to difgerent

audiences in varying presentation circumstances including formal presentations, sales pitches, meetings, interviews, negotiations, debating sessions and team presentations. They will also explore the underlying values and attitudes which convey respect for one’s audience when communicating. Learning outcomes for delegates

DELIVERY APPROACH

  • PurpleGrowth facilitators will create a learning environment that

encourages discussion, practice of lessons learned, moments for individual and group refmection as well as peer-learning.

  • There will be fun and entertaining elements as well, to ensure

delegates are kept interested and engaged throughout the duration of the programme.

  • Participants will prepare and deliver a series of individual

presentations using the techniques and tools they will be introduced to.

  • Practical vocal movements, breathing exercises, body language

warm ups and PowerPoint presentation skills will be used as a learning medium.

  • The delegate presentations will be recorded by video and will be

played back whilst the facilitator and peers provide feedback, to each attendee.

  • We recommend a 2-day training programme, which will give us

enough time to embed key components of the course as well as suffjcient time for individual exercises and individual coaching.

  • presentations. In addition, he has presented to all levels of

management throughout his 18 year career in the fjnancial services, public and legal services sectors. His qualifjcations include: Master’s in Commerce: Business Management (UJ), Management Advancement Programme (WBS), Programme in Marketing Management (UNISA) and a Certifjcate in Competitive Intelligence Certifjcate (University of Pretoria).

The cost of attendance per attendee for this particular course will depend on the number of days and number of delegates from the corporate client. Certifjcate Attendees will have a choice of an Attendance Certifjcate or an accredited Competency Certifjcate (if they take an assessment and meet other requirements of the Services SETA).
