Section #1: Hard and Soft Skill Differences

  • Hard skills are described as specific abilities that can be

defined and measured, such as writing, math, reading and the ability to make a bed, for example.

  • Soft skills are less tangible and harder to quantify, such as

etiquette, getting along with others, listening and engaging in small talk.

  • The Conference Board of Canada’s “Employability Skills
