Continuous engagement to ensure requirements, design and final website are delivered in partnership Combined project team (Fife College and Basestation) with agreed roles and responsibilities Requirements and design workshops held at Fife College with staff, student & other stakeholders Regular project meetings to review progress and approve stage completions Phased development managed and tracked by Teamwork project management tool User acceptance testing to ensure website and CMS are robust and meet Fife College requirements Issues reported and resolved during development and in production using Freshdesk ticketing

Possible Risks*

Detailed scoping at project initiation extends project timeline Key staff not available during the summer break to update and create website content Sourcing of new media content – images, videos, graphics, etc. Staff not available for testing during the start of 2017-18 session Cost overrun outside College budget e.g. annual hosting cost for a reliable, scalable and secure external service Fallback to file transfer method for website updates from REMS

Support & Maintenance

Website and CMS built using Drupal, hosted on Acquia, a Drupal specific hosting site Support for website and CMS provided by Basestation under SLA All issues logged and managed via Freshdesk ticketing system Link to REMS, Online Applications, etc. supported by Fife College IT Availability, scalability and alerts (e.g. security risk) managed by Acquia 24x7 Drupal and security updates notified by Acquia and actioned by Basestation

Acquia Hosting

Acquia is a Drupal specific hosting environment built on AWS Acquia provides scalability, reliability, security and upgrade management Separate development, test and production environments provided Simple promotion of a staging environment to production Availability & security alerts; upgrade and security reports Facilitates the smooth transfer of the website at the end of the contract
