Project Goals Introduce The Search Institute’s building blocks (40 Developmental Assets) that help young children grow up healthy, caring, and responsible : • Early literacy goals • Building social skills/ emotional learning • Exploring empathy/kindness • One hour of volunteerism a week, 50% decrease in risky behaviors including drug/alcohol abuse Provide early childhood providers age-appropriate programming that incorporates social and emotional learning. • Start at preschool age to engage youth in their communities. • School, church, family, neighborhood Train on the program, Super You: Make the World a Better Place • Resource and classroom lesson plan • Continued learning and family engagement • Ongoing technical assistance and evaluation
