I believe that art should be an experience, where the viewer interacts and explores the installation space and the work within it. As an artist, I strive to create work that is able to evoke emotions and awaken the senses of the viewer, which I believe, makes an installation effective. Artists such as Yayoi Kusama, and her infinity mirror installations and Tara Donovan, with her use of everyday objects, have vastly inspired my own work
caves specifically, are the main source of inspiration for my final piece. Paper is the main medium of my work, as it is a mundane, everyday material that society tends to hold no value to or see no beauty in.
