Lockdown Scenario

B2C product/Service based companies are hit the worst during the

  • Lockdown. Door to Door selling/ Direct Sales/Insurance sales

companies have been affected the most. Sales being the driver of any company has been hit because of this

  • lockdown. Also productivity of sales person has been at an all time

low.

EXAMPLES:

Electronic goods, Insurance policies, Product selling needs skills and persuasion with physical meetings and demonstrations, which today because of lockdown is lacking. Salesperson is lacking productivity, targets and is having depression. Also Working from home was not a role defined for sales person earlier. Product pitches needs demo, physical touch and contact by the client before finalising the payment.

Problem Identified

How can we use the real-estate spaces that are closed during the lockdown and help B2C companies to grow in this tough times maintaining safety, health and security of employees.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

After Covid 19 the scenarios in working and studying environment has changed massively. There has been a shift from offline working at office to online, working at homes. Though it sounds easy and smooth but it isn't. And looking at the present scenarios major companies have asked their employees to continue working from home till the end of 2020 and hence these problems are urgent and needs to be solved. B2C companies - the direct selling, Insurance Companies, Product based companies, electronic companies etc are the worst hit as they cannot perform meetings with their clients which leads to loss day by day.

SOLUTIONS & IDEAS

First alternative- A subscription model where we can collaborate with particular sales based companies ( Byjus, Insurance & Mutual fund companies) in B2C categories which requires door to door selling and visiting customers at their offices or homes and with Cafes or restaurants to provide their infrastructure to these companies to meet their clients. Second alternative- Subscription model where we can collaborate with cafes,restaurants and pubs which can provide their infrastructure to people working from home for working space with free wifi and food & beverage.

Solution

HOW DOES YOUR SOLUTION ADDRESS THE IDENTIFIED PROBLEM? We have chosen the first alternative which will be beneficial for the restaurants and cafes as they will be able to earn more by letting out their infrastructure as in this crisis situation less people will be visiting cafes for just hanging out purpose. The companies and the sales professionals working from home will also be benefitted as their sales calls,customer meets and business conversion will increase since the customers might not allow the sales professionals at their homes or personal offices.

Since during the lockdown, it becomes very difficult for sales person to make people understand about the product over phone. Therefore a place where the sale person can book a meeting with the client and tell about the features and benefits of their products. Partnering with restaurants and cafes for providing the infrastructure. And partnering with companies for their secondary workplace.
