CWL ANNUAL MEETING (AGM)

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9th Brunch after 10:30 Mass, followed by the meeting Menu/Ticket Price: Delicious catered brunch Ticket price $25 PLEASE BRING A FRIEND!

HELLO YOUTH: “Prayer in Charity” If there’s

  • ne thing we don’t lack, it’s spirit! We recently

met to visit the Edgemont Retirement Living

  • Residents. Our social visit quickly

changed to an entertainment night as we were met in the dining hall fully equipped with a grand piano and stage. With little practise, we sang our hearts out ending with “Build Your Kingdom Here.” Brayden performed two solos with a new song he personally wrote. We invited the residents to join in and they chose “You are my Sunshine,” as one couple waltzed in the crowd. Somehow everyone had fun. I’m amazed at the energy of our warriors who take courage even when unaware of how we’ll be charitable, but in any unexpected situation, we find something in common as we’re united by our family in Christ, united by our need for each other and prayer.

  • St. Luke’s Skywalkers “Use the Force”

Did you know St. Luke’s Youth

and Confirmation Candidates are leading a team on the Coldest Night of the Year Walk? We’ll attempt a 5km walk Saturday, February 22, to “use the force” of St. Luke and fundraise to combat hunger and homelessness. Proceeds will go towards: Feed the Hungry Program and Acadia Place. See the youth board for information
