Academic Classes at VCMS

Schedule

• School Day:
• Starts at 9:00 am
• Ends at 4:15 pm
• Doors to the school open each day at 7:45 am (report to

the gym or cafeteria upon your arrival to school).

• The 1st bell rings at 8:45 to go to class (you are tardy

after 9:00)

• Each class period lasts almost 1 hour (50-55 min)
• Lunch lasts about 25 minutes and is built in to one of your

academic classes.

• There are seven classes each day – 5 academics and

2 Connections classes.

• Power Time is held each day, right after 1st period.
