Some Colleges like Rutgers and Purdue are requesting that applicants Self Report their grades in place of supplying official transcripts. This option of self reporting will appear on the CommonAPP or when applying to the college directly. You will need your most recent transcript to self report You must honestly report grades that you see listed on your transcript, so if you failed 11th grade APUSH, you cannot leave it off Colleges can rescind acceptance letters based on inaccurately reported grades since they request FINAL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS!

Student Info Sheet aka “Brag Sheet” will be emailed to you, and will look like this. Everyone must submit to college office through email
Colleges ask for letters of recommendation from teachers and your guidance counselor or college advisor. It is important that you have a certain amount of input into these letters, so that they reflect your perceptions about your personal and academic growth. Therefore, please answer the following questions thoughtfully and write as clearly as possible on a separate attached sheet of paper OR, type out responses and email us (which is preferred). Name: Email: 1. What academic accomplishments are you most proud of? 2. What personal accomplishments are you most proud of? (EX. AIDS walk, or assembling a pajama drive at school) 3. What accomplishments in the performing arts are you most proud of? 4. What is a compliment you’ve received from someone at PPAS and what was the compliment addressing? 5. What job or out-of-school experience has been especially meaningful to you and why? 6. Are there any circumstances that might have had a negative or positive impact on your academic performance? (EX. = surgery on your knee kept you out of school for 2 weeks) 7. Is there any information about your grades or your experience at PPAS that you feel colleges should know? (EX.= Being assigned Chemistry class late and missing notes for first few tests) 8. What do you offer to a college or university? Why should they select you?
