1. Testing methods for monitoring of recreational fisheries in Polish marine waters, 2. Identification of fishing areas, 3. Identification of potential issues, 4. Analysis of formal procedures, law.

Two moduls: trolling and shore fishing. Target species: salmon, sea trout, cod, eel.

  • Two salmon fishing areas,
  • Four main harbors (Hel, Gdynia, Gdańsk Górki Zachodnie, Kołobrzeg),
  • Low level of trust,
  • Very closed community,
  • Interviews - response rate harbor-dependent.

Surfcasting

  • Distributed along Polish coast (not aggregated),
  • High level of trust,
  • High response rate.

Preliminary findings
