Are you on track to graduate?

Here's how to check:

  • 1. Login to your StudentVue / ParentVue account.

(FYI: You can add name pronunciation in your StudentVue)

  • 2. On the left side menu click on COURSE HISTORY. This will bring

up your final grades of all your completed classes, if you attended middle school in our district, these classes will also show.

  • 3. Click on DETAILS: on the top right next to Graduation Status. This

shows credits completed, credits remaining, and your Essential Skills/Personalized Learning Requirements status.

Transcripts If the answer to all of these are YES then you are

  • n-track for graduation. If the answer to any of

these are NO, then stay after to talk about options: 1. Are you enrolled in all classes you need to fulfill your graduation requirements? 2. Have you taken all the credit recovery you need? 3. Have you only been awarded credit once for each class?

General Information

❏ Sending transcripts to colleges ❏ Scholars Diploma Requirements ❏ 3.5 GPA, 8+ credits in designated advanced courses, 2+ years of a foreign language, actively participated in at least 1 co-curricular activity, can only have used P/NP for 1 elective credit ❏ Full IB students automatically earn the Scholars Diploma if they are in good standing at the end of their 8th semester. ❏ Pass/No Pass Option

It is among Scholars Diploma candidates that the Valedictorians and Salutatorians will be determined.

Letters of Recommendation

Request letters of recommendation at least 4 weeks in advance from your

  • counselor. Including recommendation forms for scholarships, the military,

SENDedu and CommonApp forms. It is important to give your school counselors and teachers enough notice to write a well thought letter crediting your high school career.

A minimum grade of “C” in core courses ■ 4 years of English ■ 3 years of Mathematics - (including Algebra 2) ■ 3 years of Science ■ 3 years of Social Studies ■ 2 years of the same World Language/ Passing the FLATS ■ 16 academic credits in core subject areas .5 credit in a Visual/Performing Fine Arts class is recommended

Vocational/Technical/Trade Programs

❏ The State of Oregon Department of Community Colleges and WorkSource Development have teamed up to create Career Pathways for Oregonians. Currently, there are 180 Career Pathways available through Oregon's 17 community colleges that give you the initial education needed for a career in as little as 9-12 weeks. Below are several examples of these pathways along with additional resources to assist you. ❏ State Of Oregon Department of Community Colleges & Workforce Development ❏ MyPathCareers ❏ Sign up to attend the Career Expo with Mr. Mayner in March (there is space for 100 students, he’s already taking names!) ❏

The Expo includes hands-on learning, demonstrations, mock interviews, career workshops and the chance to talk directly with professionals about college-and-career options.
